Free Guided Hikes this week-end



















Where should I go, what should I look for and what if...?
Now all your hiking questions can be answered with one of the many
free guided hiking week-ends on our mountain.

The cottage at Red Oak Hollow is available this week-end with a great rate of $125 a night . Be sure to mention it it when you book.  It's my blog special!!

Frosty Meadow Hike  
Meet Ranger Jason at the Visitor’s Center for a great way to start the day. Jason will lead you on a 1.3 mile easy hike around the meadow trail to examine the nature of frost and ice and how plants and animals cope with this wintry wonder! Please dress for the weather and wear gloves!

Saturday, February 7 @ 10:00 a.m.
Savage Day Loop Hike  
Join Ranger Jessie at the Savage Gulf Ranger Station for an easy 4.2 mile hike around the Savage Day Loop. This hike is an excellent introduction to the Savage Gulf; taking you to a beautiful overlook and even a view of the Savage Falls! Please dress for the weather and bring plenty of water.
